Art by Jemsy helps artists and aspiring artists improve their painting skills by offering a studio experience in the heart of the Cotswolds.
I am delighted to now be offering all-year-round workshops at my purpose-built studio in Woodchester, just outside of Stroud. My studio space is situated in a relaxing and tranquil setting, offering a lovely view of Woodchester village and its surrounding woodland.

I'm Jemma Jones, also known as Art By Jemsy, I am a professional artist based in Woodchester near Stroud.
With a degree in Arts Management and a decade of experience as a professional artist, I am an intuitive abstract painter.
In addition to selling my artwork to private clients, I have also exhibited my work in art venues, cafes and shops, and I'm often recognised for my 'Art By Jemsy' style.
My Studio Space
I feel exceptionally lucky to be able to create my artwork in such a lovely studio.
Since I create artwork and offer workshops all year round, the views of the outlying woods around Woodchester are often an inspiration for colour combinations in some of my work.
The summer months are lovely for flinging open the doors and enjoying a summer breeze, and during the winter, I love having the studio warm and cosy with the log burner on.
